I stepped into coaching and started BE/volved Services so that I could be that coach for underrepresented professionals seeking a partner to help them navigate the corporate world. Someone who understood my unique challenges as a Queer, Puerto Rican, Neurodivergent professional. While I am so grateful to the coaches who helped guide me, I never had the opportunity to be coached by someone with my lived experience. Coaching was something I was privileged to receive early on in my career as a benefit and it was instrumental in accelerating my success in tech.
