Update: If you liked playing or hosting flash games and are unsure where to go from here, checkout our WIX and Shopify alternatives or play around on our Game Library page.Ĭheckout GameAnalytics' interview with Filipp Karmanov, the CEO and Founder of Black Snowflake Games, regarding the viral potential of HTML5 games. Fast forward to today and we have seen Adobe come to terms with all of their adversity over the years (Google’s announcement to no longer support Flash-based technology in ads being the final nail in the coffin), Adobe announced that they plan to completely kill Flash by the end of 2020.

And it's just my luck that it effected some of the games I like to play the most.Since the mid-90s, Flash technology has had a monopoly on developing multimedia components for websites. This is literally driving me crazy trying to figure it all out.and it upsets me that everything was fine one day, then after some updates, everything is messed up. I even did what that link Chris posted to do, and I thought it had worked at first.I actually got to go into my Farmville and Treasure Isle for a little bit, then it turned around and crashed again. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the flash player so many times my mind is numb, and even tried to find the one I had prior to this new 10.1 and nothing has worked.

So I'm not sure if it's one or the other, or both of them put together. I am not 100% sure what exactly the problem is, or who is causing it because I had a Firefox update, and then an Adobe update to the 10.1 beta. It doesn't seem to be effecting the less-detailed Zynga games, such as Mafia Wars or Vampire Wars and I can go into more detailed games that aren't Zynga and they seem to work fine too. Before the updates, the Adobe Flash player NEVER crashed in Firefox (it did in Google Chrome all the time) and now it's crashing in all my favorite games.Farmville, Frontierville, Yoville, and Treasure Isle.
